🎯 Role Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will own and lead business analysis activities for medium to high-complexity digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product owners, development teams, QA, service delivery teams, and external vendors.

You will be responsible for translating business needs into detailed specifications, overseeing documentation across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with organisational objectives.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

Business & Technical Analysis

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements through workshops, interviews, and refinement sessions.

  • Decompose business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Conduct gap analysis and document data flow differences.

  • Develop process flows using BPMN, UML, and modelling tools.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including software specifications and data flow diagrams.

Agile & SDLC Leadership

  • Apply advanced Agile methodologies in complex environments.

  • Lead Scrum practices and mentor junior team members

  • Oversee end-to-end development lifecycle from requirement gathering to service delivery.

  • Collaborate with QA to validate that business requirements are met

Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders.

  • Serve as primary contact for service-related inquiries.

  • Monitor service delivery progress and mitigate risks.

  • Present analysis results and reports to project managers and senior stakeholders

  • Mentor junior Business Analysts when required

🛠 Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis

  • 4+ years in Lean/Agile environments

  • Strong experience in API design and integration

  • Expertise in SDLC (Agile and Waterfall methodologies)

  • Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas)

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, FIGMA, BPMN, UML

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience documenting data flows and system interactions

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills

  • CBAP, BCS, or other Business Analysis certifications

  • Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical domains

  • Exposure to medical device software documentation

  • Familiarity with Databricks, Power BI, AWS, FTP/sFTP
