About the Role: GCC L3 Speaker Program Operations Associate

Are you an operational strategist who excels at managing data ecosystems and commercial platforms within the life sciences sector? Amgen is hiring a GCC L3 Speaker Program Operations Associate to join our elite commercial operations network in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

This highly cross-functional role serves as the structural backbone of the SPaCEE ecosystem, focusing directly on Speaker Program & Congress Operations. Working at the intersection of commercial execution and business intelligence, you will oversee platform stability, enforce strict user access compliance, and manage automated reporting streams across Tableau, Power BI, and Salesforce/Centris platforms. You will move far beyond passive data maintenance, actively engineering unified performance models to track Return on Engagement (ROE) and Return on Spend (ROS). By providing data-driven insights into Healthcare Professional (HCP) customer journeys, your work will directly optimize regional field-force strategies and global brand planning.

Key Responsibilities & Commercial Systems Workflows

  • Systems Management & Change Cycles: Lead change management lifecycles for the Centris platform, including routine testing, vendor updates, cross-system dependency analysis, and complete validation documentation.

  • Data Integrity & Governance: Execute quarterly field-force realignments, product onboarding frameworks, and comprehensive User Access Reviews across vendor and home-office portals.

  • Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence: Design, build, and maintain interactive operational scorecards and dashboards utilising Tableau, Power BI, and Salesforce interfaces to track regional commercial performance.

  • Congress Performance Integration: Oversee the structural data tracking for Congress Performance metrics, mapping unified ROE (Return on Engagement) and ROS (Return on Spend) pipelines.

  • Process Automation & Optimisation: Partner with internal Information Systems (IS) and vendor networks to transition legacy reporting mechanics into automated, scalable workflows.

  • Escalation Leadership: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the field force, resolving technical data platform anomalies while maintaining the corporate SharePoint escalation hub.

Candidate Prerequisites & Technical Matrix

We are looking for a meticulous, highly organised operational professional who can confidently navigate complex CRM databases and simplify abstract technical data for executive management teams.

Basic Required Experience Horizons:

  • Option A: Bachelor’s degree paired with a minimum of 4 years of directly related operations or analytics experience.

  • Option B: Associate’s degree paired with a minimum of 6 years of directly related technical support experience.

  • Option C: High School Diploma / GED paired with a minimum of 8 years of directly related operational systems experience.

Preferred Technical & Sector Qualifications:

  • Direct professional background within Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Project Management, or the broader Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology sectors.

  • Strong hands-on familiarity interacting with enterprise CRM databases and business intelligence systems (e.g., Salesforce, Centris, Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, or Learning Management Systems).

  • Advanced practical mastery of the core Microsoft Office suite (Excel macros, PowerPoint documentation, Outlook, and Teams integration).

  • Excellent time-management and multi-tasking capabilities, with a proven ability to coordinate effectively with diverse cross-functional leadership tiers.
