Role Overview

Wipro is seeking a highly skilled Software Application Management Specialist to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications. The role involves managing application performance, ensuring system stability, driving continuous improvements, and supporting cross-functional teams with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and optimize enterprise software applications to ensure high availability and performance.

• Provide Level 2/3 application support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with development teams for fixes.

• Handle application deployments, upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes.

• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and create preventive action plans.

• Maintain documentation related to system workflows, processes, and application architecture.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable, secure solutions.

• Ensure compliance with ITIL, security policies, and organizational standards.

• Support automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in application support, software maintenance, or system management.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux/Windows servers, API integrations, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).

• Experience with ITIL processes, incident management, problem management, and change management.

• Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in ServiceNow, monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics), and scripting (Python/Shell).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to enterprise applications (SAP, Oracle, CRM tools, custom apps).
