Job Summary:
HP is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Application Management Specialist to oversee the performance, maintenance, and optimization of business applications. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth application operations, troubleshoot issues, enhance system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage business-critical applications to ensure high availability.

• Identify, analyse, and resolve application-related issues in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with development, IT support, and vendor teams for application upgrades and patches.

• Perform regular system health checks, performance tuning, and risk analysis.

• Document application processes, technical issues, and resolutions.

• Support deployment activities, testing, and user acceptance processes.

• Ensure application compliance with HP security and quality standards.

• Provide user support and training when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

• Strong understanding of software application lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with SQL, Java, Python, or other programming languages.

• Experience with incident management and ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Jira).

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and automation tools.
