🧾 About the Role – Senior Revenue Data Analyst

As a Senior Revenue Data Analyst at RingCentral, you will play a critical role in developing, validating, and maintaining key revenue and financial reports. The position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.

You’ll be working closely with IT, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to ensure that reporting systems are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business goals.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities – Senior Revenue Data Analyst

1. Dashboard Design & Reporting

Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx, helping stakeholders visualize and understand complex financial data.

2. ETL Workflow Development

Build and manage ETL workflows using tools such as Tableau Prep, Informatica, or similar platforms.

3. SQL & Query Optimization

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.

4. Big Data Handling

Work with large datasets on platforms like Snowflake, Hive, and Impala.

5. Data Modeling & Reconciliation

Apply data warehouse best practices and validate outputs between legacy and new systems (e.g., Snowflake and NetSuite).

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with IT, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to gather requirements and improve reporting accuracy.

🎓 Required Skills & Experience – Senior Revenue Data Analyst

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years in data analysis, reporting, or BI development.

Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL / PL-SQL knowledge.

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.

  • Experience with ETL tools (Tableau Prep, Informatica).

  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Hive, Impala.

  • Advanced Excel skills.
