Techforce Systems is seeking an experienced, results-driven Data & BI Developer for a critical contract role. If you are an expert in mastering data flow from Google BigQuery to dynamic insights in Tableau and Looker, and thrive in a remote, high-performance environment, we want you! This role is 100% remote, offering a competitive salary up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year.

Project Role: Data & BI Developer (Google BigQuery, Looker, Tableau)

This role is the critical link between raw data and business strategy. You will design and implement highly optimised data structures and deliver compelling, actionable business intelligence across Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.

 Key Responsibilities & Technical Mastery

1. Data Modelling & Google BigQuery Warehousing

• Design & Optimisation: Design, develop, and optimise scalable data models and schemas within Google BigQuery.

• SQL Mastery: Write, tune, and optimise complex, performance-driven SQL queries (Standard $\text{SQL}$) for efficient $\text{ETL/ELT}$ processes.

• Performance Engineering: Manage and govern data in BigQuery, focusing heavily on data partitioning, clustering, cost optimization, and query performance tuning.

2. Business Intelligence & Visualization (Tableau & Looker)

• LookML Development: Create and manage complex LookML models (views, explorers, and dashboards) in Looker to establish a single, trusted source of truth for business metrics.

• Tableau Expertise: Connect Tableau to diverse data sources (primarily BigQuery), design advanced visualizations, and manage workbook deployment on Tableau Server/Cloud.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to translate vague requirements into robust technical data solutions and high-impact dashboards.

3. Data Quality, Governance, and Mentorship

• Data Quality: Implement data validation and quality checks across the entire data pipeline and BI layer to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to data users on accessing, interpreting, and leveraging BI reports.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for all data models, $\text{LookML}$ structures, and reporting standards.

 Required Qualifications

These skills will make your application stand out:

• Familiarity with other GCP services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow/Dataproc, Airflow/Composer).

• Experience with Python or $\text{R}$ for scripting, $\text{ETL/ELT}$ processes, or advanced analytics.

• Experience with Git or other version control systems for managing $\text{LookML}$ and code.

• Understanding of data governance, security, and PII management best practices.
