The Role: Senior Data Analyst (Sales Strategy & Analytics)
The Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) team is the engine behind Gartner’s sales force transformation. In this role, you will sit within the Sales Strategy & Analytics team, serving as an internal consultant to Gartner’s sales leaders.
You will manage large, complex data sets to solve mission-critical problems for a global sales force of 5,000+ associates. Your goal is to move beyond simple reporting to provide the “Why” behind the data, helping Gartner maintain its sustained double-digit growth.
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory: Consult with Gartner business leaders to diagnose performance issues and shape sales strategy.

Dashboard Innovation: Create and manage visualisation dashboards in Power BI to track key sales metrics and productivity.

Data Transformation: Mine, scrub, and transform unstructured data into structured insights using SQL and Python.

Automation: Leverage Excel VBA/Macros and Databricks to automate manual reporting processes and improve scalability.

Executive Presentation: Synthesise quantitative findings into high-impact PowerPoint presentations for senior executives.
💪 What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience: 4+ years in Business Analytics, Data Engineering, or Sales Operations.

Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.

Advanced Skills: Hands-on experience with VBA/Macros; exposure to Python and Databricks is a strong plus.
