🔹 Role Overview – Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst at bluCognition, you will leverage your expertise in the e-commerce domain to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decisions. This role involves close collaboration with payments space stakeholders to deliver robust reporting, high-quality analysis, and data models that drive business outcomes.

🔹 Key Responsibilities – Senior Data Analyst

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions and analytical requirements.

  • Design, build, and maintain SQL-based datasets, views, and queries.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.

  • Support BAU (Business As Unusual) work, ad-hoc analysis, and critical projects in the payments domain.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.

  • Collaborate with data engineering and other analytics teams.

  • Translate complex findings into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the automation and standardization of recurring Finance/Accounting reporting.

🔹 Required Qualifications – Senior Data Analyst

  • Experience: 5+ years in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Analytics roles.

  • SQL Skills: Strong hands-on expertise (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).

  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI; familiarity with dbtCloud is a plus.

  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in the e-commerce sector.

  • Soft Skills: Analytical problem-solving, excellent communication, and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications – Senior Data Analyst

  • Experience in the Fintech space.

  • Familiarity with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and modern data stacks.

  • Experience with version control (Git) or workflow orchestration tools.

  • Basic proficiency in Python or advanced analytics skills.
