Job Overview

MetAntz is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to support a multi-billion-dollar US-based Global Capability Centre (GCC) for one of the world’s most iconic enterprise brands. Based at the customer’s Bengaluru (Bellandur) hub, this role offers hands-on exposure to large-scale, high-impact datasets that influence strategic decisions across the organisation.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about data-driven problem solving, advanced analytics, and stakeholder collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business leadership, translating complex data into insights that drive measurable business outcomes.

While the role begins as a 1-year contract, there is a strong likelihood of contract extension, full-time absorption with the GCC customer, or redeployment across similar enterprise clients through MetAntz.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights and building scalable analytics solutions. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Extracting, cleaning, and analysing large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for executives and business stakeholders

  • Conducting statistical analysis to support hypothesis testing, experimentation, and performance measurement

  • Partnering with product managers, engineers, and business teams to define KPIs, success metrics, and reporting frameworks

  • Translating complex analytical findings into clear, concise recommendations for non-technical audiences

  • Identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve data workflows

  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources

  • Supporting ad-hoc analysis, deep dives, and investigative studies into business performance and customer behaviour

Required Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field

Technical Skills

  • SQL: Minimum 3+ years of experience writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and handling large datasets

  • Tableau: Strong hands-on experience creating dashboards, visual storytelling, and interactive reports

  • Statistics: Solid understanding of hypothesis testing, regression analysis, probability distributions, and A/B testing

Professional Experience

  • 3–10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or similar analytical roles

  • Proven ability to analyse high-volume, multi-source datasets

  • Experience in presenting insights to both technical and senior business stakeholders

Preferred / Additional Skills

  • Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)

  • Exposure to AI / Machine Learning concepts and predictive modelling

  • Experience with other BI or visualization tools

  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Knowledge of e-commerce, marketplace, or technology-driven businesses

Work Model & Contract Details

    • Extension with the same GCC customer

    • Potential full-time absorption when roles open

    • Opportunity to continue working with MetAntz across similar enterprise customers

  • The GCC customer will issue an experience certificate for exclusive project engagement.
