About the Role: Senior Data Analyst (Strategic & Operational Excellence)

As a Senior Data Analyst at BairesDev, you are more than a number cruncher; you are a strategic advisor. This role is positioned at the intersection of Application Data Management, Digital Advertising (Ad-Tech), and Financial Operations.

Your primary mission is to lead efforts in deriving strategic insights that influence high-level business decisions. You will model complex scenarios, triage system alerts, and ensure that our data pipelines for billing and advertising remain uninterrupted and accurate.

Detailed Key Responsibilities

• Deep-Dive Data Exploration: Conduct comprehensive analyses on massive datasets to identify hidden trends, troubleshoot anomalies, and uncover efficiency opportunities within our application data management systems.

• Ad-Tech & DSP Operations: Apply specialised knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem (specifically Demand-Side Platforms – DSP) to inform reporting, optimise ad spend analysis, and track campaign performance metrics.

• Financial Billing Support: Work closely with Finance and Product teams to audit data discrepancies, ensuring that the financial billing processes are precise and data-backed.

• Proactive System Monitoring: Investigate system and monitoring alerts to identify potential service issues before they impact the client, collaborating with cross-functional technical teams and external partners.

• Process Automation & Innovation: Lead initiatives to automate manual data workflows, drastically increasing operational accuracy and allowing the team to focus on high-value analysis.

• Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding junior analysts and fostering a data-driven culture across our multicultural, distributed teams.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

To maintain our standard of excellence, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), or a related quantitative field.

• Professional Experience: At least 3+ years in data management or analytics roles, with a proven track record of supporting complex, large-scale data solutions.

• Domain Knowledge: Specific experience in the Digital Advertising/Ad-Tech media sector is highly preferred.

• Technical Stack: * SQL Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in writing and optimising complex queries.

  • Advanced Excel: Mastery of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex modelling.

• Analytical Prowess: Ability to triage and prioritise technical issues effectively under pressure.

• Communication: Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) to collaborate with global stakeholders.

• Niche Expertise: Experience in Finance and Billing analytics is a significant advantage.
