The Role: Senior AI/ML Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Data Scientist with 5–6 years of experience to spearhead our artificial intelligence initiatives. This role is perfect for a technical leader who enjoys bridging the gap between experimental research and scalable production environments.

Whether you are based in Kolkata or working remotely, you will lead the design and deployment of sophisticated systems ranging from Recommendation Engines to advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End AI Development: Design, develop, and deploy full-stack AI/ML solutions from data ingestion to production APIs.

• Generative AI Leadership: Lead high-impact projects involving LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases to build intelligent conversational agents.

• Predictive Modelling: Build and optimise recommendation systems and personalisation algorithms to drive business growth.

• Scalable Infrastructure: Deploy and scale ML models on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes.

• MLOps & Best Practices: Mentor junior team members and establish rigorous standards for model monitoring, explainability, and CI/CD for ML.

• Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI microservices into broader enterprise architectures.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 5–6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML and Data Science.

• Core Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.

• Modern AI Skills: Practical experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases (Pinecone/Milvus), and API development (FastAPI/Flask/Django).

• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud ML deployments and containerization (Docker/K8S).

• Data Engineering: Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL and data pipeline development.
