About the Role: SAP Consultant Intern

IBM Singapore is actively recruiting data-driven, business-minded university students for its SAP Consultant Internship program. Positioned within the core enterprise transformation team, this professional track is tailored for ambitious undergraduates pursuing degrees in Business, Management, or Accounting who want to operate at the intersection of corporate finance, supply chain logistics, and cloud-based data systems.

As an SAP Consultant Intern, you will transition past baseline business theory into live client delivery environments. Working under the structured guidance of senior enterprise architects, your day-to-day focus will center on translating client functional demands into explicit software requirements. You will be responsible for evaluating transaction configurations, running systemic data validations, and charting technical issue logs during multi-tiered system rollouts. This role offers an immersive workspace to build a high-caliber professional consulting portfolio while directly influencing the operational efficiency of major multinational corporations.

Key Responsibilities & Functional Workflows

  • ERP Configuration & Support: Assist the core consulting unit in executing custom SAP module configurations, adjusting business logic parameters, and organizing project milestone deliverables.

  • Functional Specification Drafting: Support senior consultants in capturing client business needs and transforming them into comprehensive functional and technical specification documentation.

  • Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous data validation routines, execute system end-to-end integration testing, and manage structural issue tracking pipelines during active implementations.

  • Client Workshop Operations: Participate actively in client-facing business requirement workshops, take technical alignment minutes, and compile executive-ready presentation materials.

  • Business Process Mapping: Analyze ongoing transactional workflows across corporate Finance (FI/CO) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) networks to detect operational bottlenecks.

  • Project Management Office (PMO) Support: Maintain internal resource databases, track active project sprint telemetry, and provide core administrative backing to the delivery team.
