Named #1 on The Information’s “Top 50 Most Promising B2B Companies,” Turing connects a talent cloud of 4M+ experts with world-leading AI labs and enterprises.

Our leadership team includes veterans from Meta, Google, Microsoft, and Stanford, all working toward a singular goal: building the world’s most powerful AI systems through our AI-vetted talent platform, ALAN.

The Role: Data Scientist & AI Analyst (LLM Specialist)

We are looking for Data Scientists and Analysts who are passionate about solving complex problems and turning data into real-world impact. In this role, you will work on the front lines of AI research, collaborating with top US-based companies to refine and improve the next generation of Large Language Models (LLMs).

What You’ll Do

  • Model Optimisation: Build, train, and optimise high-performance AI models to push the boundaries of machine intelligence.

  • LLM Refinement: Evaluate and improve LLM outputs for accuracy, safety, and alignment.

  • Advanced Training: Design and lead Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) workflows.

  • Data Synthesis: Analyse large-scale public datasets (Kaggle, UN, US Gov) to generate actionable insights and high-quality training data.

  • Technical Excellence: Write clean, production-ready Python code and communicate complex technical reasoning to global stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python, data analysis libraries, and algorithmic problem-solving.

  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to think critically and communicate technical concepts clearly.

  • Passion for AI: A deep-seated interest in advancing AI research, particularly in the areas of LLMs and Generative AI.

Why Join the Turing Talent Cloud?

  • 100% Remote & Flexible: Work from anywhere in the world with flexible scheduling.

  • Elite Network: Collaborate with a global community of the world’s top 1% of engineers and scientists.

  • High-Impact Projects: Direct involvement in projects that shape how AI thinks, reasons, and codes.

Engagement Details

  • Commitment Options: Choose between 20, 30, or 40 hours per week.

  • PST Overlap: Requires a minimum of 4 hours daily overlap with Pacific Standard Time.

  • Type: Contractor assignment (1-month initial duration with potential for extension).

  • Start Date: Immediate (Expected next week).

The Evaluation Process (Approx. 75 Mins)

  1. Technical Round (60 min): Deep dive into your Python skills and AI/ML logic.

  2. Cultural & Offer Discussion (15 min): Alignment with Turing’s mission and engagement terms.
