The Role: Project Planning Engineer (E&I)

We are looking for a technically proficient Project Planning Engineer specialising in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I). You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of project scheduling, cost tracking, and technical documentation within our EPC framework.

Note: Only candidates with project execution experience will be considered. Maintenance work experience is not applicable for this role.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling & Planning: Prepare Supply and I&C project schedules in line with the master project timeline. Maintain day-to-day Primavera schedule plans.

• WBS & Resource Management: Develop a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Execute resource planning and calculate man-hours and productivity.

• Project Controls: Conduct progress reviews, prepare reports, and perform backlog analysis to ensure projects stay on track.

• Cost & Financial Tracking: Hands-on experience in EIP for ACE (Anytime Cost Estimation) preparation. Prepare and submit JCR (Job Cost Report), track costs, and maintain target margins.

• Technical Engineering: Review engineering drawings for constructability. Extract the scope of work and prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) from drawings.

• Documentation: Prepare instrumentation datasheets, cable schedules, and E&I work procedures based on project standards and best practices.

• Procurement & Billing: Prepare project PRs, review procurement status, and handle the creation and submission of client invoices.

💪 Required Skills & Experience

• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and EIP systems.

• Technical Estimation: Strong ability in the estimation of E&I works and preparation of technical cable schedules.

• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of EPC project activities, I&C scheduling, and IPE (Information Produced by Entity) accuracy.

• Analytical Skills: High proficiency in calculating productivity, man-hours, and financial margins.

• Communication: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
