🛠️ Job Description

The Senior Network Developer will be instrumental in the design, deployment, automation, and operation of Oracle’s cloud-scale networking infrastructure (OCI – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). You’ll be expected to integrate deep networking knowledge with development skills to manage, optimise, and automate a production environment that spans a global network footprint.

This environment supports millions of servers and hundreds of thousands of devices, requiring advanced experience in networking and large-scale automation.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Support network build, upgrade, and lifecycle projects.

  • Serve as a technical lead for team and cross-functional projects.

  • Lead root cause analysis and remediation of network issues.

  • Automate routine tasks using Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages.

  • Collaborate with internal QA teams and network vendors for bug fixes and firmware testing.

  • Mentor junior network engineers.

  • Contribute to network architecture and solution design discussions.

  • Engage in operational rotations to provide support during incidents.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Proven experience in networking protocols and cloud networking systems.

  • Strong programming and automation skills.

  • Deep knowledge of network fabric, infrastructure, and network lifecycle management.

  • Previous experience as a technical lead or senior contributor in similar roles.

  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
