Stripe, the global financial infrastructure platform, is looking for ambitious graduate students to join our Data Science community in Toronto, Ontario. The Internship Experience: Impact and Growth
Our internship program is designed to immerse you in the world of Large Datasets and Analytical Methodologies. You will collaborate with industry experts to expand global commerce and understand how analytics steers business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

Rigorous Analysis: Partner with Data Scientists and business leaders to drive business impact through analytical solutions.

Advanced Methodologies: Apply Machine Learning, Causal Inference, and predictive analytics to measure outcomes and attribute causal impact.

Data Visualisation: Influence business strategy by developing actionable insights through metrics and dashboards.

Data Engineering: Drive the collection and refinement of new and existing data sources.

Strategic Communication: Present your findings to the broader Data Science team and partner organisations.
Who Should Apply? Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for students with passion, grit, and a rigorous approach to challenging assumptions.
Minimum Requirements:

Education: Currently enrolled in a quantitative Master’s degree program (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science).

Graduation Timeline: Expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and a scientific computing language like Python or R.

Soft Skills: Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing and debugging data pipelines.

Demonstrated ability to act on feedback from mentors and peers.

Ability to learn new systems quickly through independent research and subject matter expertise.
Office Location & In-Office Expectations
Note: This role is not eligible for hire in the United States. We are hiring exclusively for our Toronto, Ontario location.

In-Office Culture: Office-assigned “Stripes” in Toronto are currently expected to spend at least 50% of their timein the office. This model strikes a balance between in-person collaboration and flexible work.
Compensation & Benefits
Stripe offers a highly competitive compensation package for our Toronto interns:

Annual Salary Range: CA$96,200.
