This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and integrity of NIQ’s market measurement products. As a Data Analyst, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, validate critical outputs, and maintain data standards that influence strategic business decisions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery

Ensure all model stages run according to production schedules and standard operating procedures.

Understand modelling and validation principles specific to your assigned territory.

Support and mentor new analysts with technical queries and problem solving.

Demonstrate commercial awareness of NIQ’s clients and product portfolio.

Contribute to projects under senior leadership guidance, meeting agreed timelines.
Output Validation
-
Validate model outputs against external data sources and contribute to validation discussions.
-
Maintain and apply consistent data integrity rules.
-
Provide data-driven recommendations for trend alignment and market accuracy.
-
QC external data sources and ensure timely uploads for assigned services.
Investigations & Problem Solving
-
Investigate client queries using available tools and data sources.
-
Perform root cause analyses on errors and implement corrective measures.

Troubleshoot anomalies and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
Stakeholder Management
-
Own communications with stakeholders for your sector, ensuring progress updates and prompt query responses.

Collaborate with subject matter experts when required.
Process Audit & Improvement
-
Audit and enhance existing validation processes.
-
Build validation sheets, implement process improvements, and update SOPs under senior supervision.
Qualifications
-
Degree-qualified, preferably with experience in analytics or data modelling.

Strong numeracy and data manipulation skills.
-
Experience with relational databases (desired but not essential).

Skilled at extracting insights from large datasets and creating reports.
