Website Mem0
At Mem0, we’re building something extraordinary — the memory layer for AI agents. Our mission is to enable artificial intelligence to remember conversations, learn from interactions, and build contextual understanding over time. Already powering millions of AI interactions, Mem0 is shaping the next frontier of intelligent systems — and now we’re looking for a foundational Data Analyst to join our journey.
Backed by top-tier investors and a vision to redefine how AI learns and adapts, Mem0 is at an inflection point. We’re scaling rapidly, and data is at the heart of every product and business decision we make.
This is not your typical analytics role — it’s an opportunity to build an analytics foundation from scratch, define metrics that matter, and directly influence product direction, growth strategy, and company-wide decision-making.
📍 Location: Bangalore, India
💰 Compensation: Competitive salary + equity
🔍 About the Role
As Mem0’s first Data Analyst, you’ll design, build, and own the data systems that will power every insight we generate. You’ll be responsible for creating a scalable data infrastructure, building automated dashboards, designing reporting pipelines, and translating data into actionable insights that guide strategic choices across Product, Engineering, and Leadership.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building things from zero, and wants to see their work directly shape an early-stage AI company.
💡 What You’ll Do
1. Build Data Infrastructure & Pipelines
-
Design and maintain robust data pipelines that bring together information from Postgres, PostHog, LLM outputs, and various third-party APIs.
-
Develop clean, scalable data models and schemas that evolve with our product and business needs.
-
Implement ETL workflows, automate data collection, and ensure data quality and reliability at every step.
-
Establish best practices for data governance, version control, and validation.
2. Deliver Analytics & Insights
-
Define and track key product and business metrics — retention, activation, engagement, monetization, and feature adoption.
-
Create real-time dashboards and reports that make metrics visible and actionable across teams.
-
Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover growth opportunities and surface trends that shape product strategy.
-
Support experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing, feature rollouts, and impact measurement.
3. Build Internal Tooling & Self-Service Systems
-
Develop self-service analytics tools and standardized reporting templates to empower non-technical stakeholders.
-
Write clear documentation, maintain data definitions, and ensure metric alignment company-wide.
-
Train and support team members on how to interpret and act on data insights.
4. Partner Across Teams
-
Work with Product to define success metrics for new features and launches.
-
Collaborate with Engineering to ensure data collection systems are robust and complete.
-
Support Leadership with investor-grade analytics, financial dashboards, and KPI tracking.
-
Partner with Research on experimental frameworks for AI memory and retrieval innovations.
⚙️ What We’re Looking For

-
Advanced SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

Strong Python skills for analysis, automation, and building data pipelines.
-
Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as PostHog, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
-
Experience with BI and visualization tools — Tableau, Looker, or Metabase.
-
Understanding of API integrations, ETL processes, and modern data warehousing.
Experience & Background
-
1–3 years in analytics, data engineering, or related roles — ideally at a fast-moving startup.

Proven ability to work with complex, unstructured datasets and translate them into clear insights.
-
Product intuition — you think like a builder, not just an analyst.
Mindset & Collaboration
-
Strong business acumen — you focus on insights that drive real impact.
-
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
-
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes full ownership of outcomes.
