The Role: Mechanical Planning Engineer
Are you a proactive engineer with a passion for mechanical planning, coordination, and technical innovation? NAFFCO is looking for a Mechanical Planning Engineer to serve as a pivotal link between design, production, and delivery.
In this role, you won’t just manage schedules; you will enable the seamless execution of complex mechanical engineering projects. Your ability to combine technical expertise with persuasive communication and strategic problem-solvingwill be essential in driving business success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & Project Management

Strategic Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans using software like MS Project or Primavera P6.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Align priorities between engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure a unified project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the technical point of contact for clients to clarify specifications and secure approvals.

Performance Monitoring: Track project milestones, resolve scheduling conflicts, and implement corrective actions for any delays.

Resource Optimization: Document and adjust resource allocation to maintain peak efficiency despite shifting project scopes.

Risk Mitigation: Facilitate comprehensive risk assessments to ensure safety and project continuity.

Sales Support: Provide technical input for proposals, including high-level presentations and client consultations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who balances analytical rigor with effective “selling skills”—the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Technical Knowledge

In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, contracts, and specifications.

Expertise in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
Experience & Education

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience: Proven track record in planning or coordination roles within the mechanical, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
