The Role: Machine Learning Engineer (AI Product Team)

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to own the end-to-end development of our next-generation AI Document Information Extraction product. This is a cross-functional role where you will transition from writing “clean” code to making critical architectural decisions and interacting with international engineering teams.

🎯 Primary Responsibilities

• AI Product Development: Build and optimise an automated information extraction platform using Deep Learning.

• Architecture & Innovation: Challenge the existing tech stack and integrate “baby components” that improve model performance.

• Full-Cycle ML: Lead the lifecycle of model training, testing, and deployment using open-source technologies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global engineering teams to align ML development with business goals and client needs.

💪 Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Core: Strong proficiency in Python 3 and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, or BERT.

• Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and model optimisation.

• Cloud-Native Skills: Hands-on experience with modern software technologies, web services, and cloud-native deployment.

• Engineering Best Practices: Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD workflows, code reviews, and version control (Git).

• Problem Solving: An eye for detail and the ability to implement the latest DL models from research papers in a short timeframe.
