The Role: Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to be based in our Chennai, Tamil Nadu office. In this role, you will be the architect behind end-to-end ML systems—from ideation and PoC to large-scale production deployment.

You will not only build models using Python and Deep Learning but also design the infrastructure that supports them, including LLM orchestration, vector databases, and async processing queues. If you are passionate about scaling ML systems and working with cutting-edge tech like Generative AI and Multimodal pipelines, this is the place for you.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End System Design: Architect complex ML systems, including LLM + OCR + Embeddings and prompt pipelines.

• Model Development: Design and implement innovative ML models using decision trees, logistic regression, and Bayesian analysis to solve structured and unstructured business problems.

• Scaling & Optimization: Master the scaling of ML systems by handling high concurrency, throughput, and latency through model distillation and quantization (GGUF, ONNX).

• MLOps Excellence: Automate the model lifecycle using CI/CD/CT (Continuous Integration/Deployment/Training) and principles of Agile methodology.

• Infrastructure Management: Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS (SageMaker), GCP (Vertex AI), or Azure.

• Domain Adaptation: Apply machine learning to specialized fields such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), object detection, and terrain mapping.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Core Languages: Mastery of Python and API development.

• AI/ML Expertise: Strong foundation in Deep Learning, LLMs, and complex algorithms.

• DevOps for ML: Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and MLOps.

Technical Deep-Dive

• Architecture: Experience with preprocessing for images/PDFs/Excel and working with Vector DBs or structured extraction systems.

• Scaling: Proven ability to handle batch processing of large files and GPU/CPU deployment strategies.

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AI services like AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Bedrock is highly preferred.

• Preferred Skills: Experience with BigQuery for large-scale data analysis.
