Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to design, develop, and lead high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will guide development teams, architect scalable solutions, ensure code quality, and deliver robust software aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.

• Review code, enforce best coding practices, and ensure quality standards.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams.

• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.

• Manage application integration with databases, APIs, and third-party services.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.

• Troubleshoot critical production issues and ensure timely resolution.

• Contribute to technical documentation and system design specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 6+ years of experience in Java backend development.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and design patterns.

• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular/React).

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or BFSI projects.
