Sutra.AI Careers: Lead Engineer (Full Stack)

We are looking for a Lead Engineer (Full Stack) who is a developer at heart—someone who believes that the best leaders are the ones who write the most elegant code.

This is a Full-Time, Remote position, specifically open to candidates based out of Delhi NCR or Bhopal. If you’re ready to own end-to-end AI-powered enterprise solutions and lead a team by example, this is your next challenge.

 About the Role: 70% Coding, 100% Impact

This is not a “pure management” role. You will spend the majority of your time (70%) in the IDE, architecting and implementing scalable solutions for global enterprise customers. The remaining 30% of your time will be dedicated to mentoring the next generation of engineers and guiding technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-On Development: Write production-quality code across the stack (React, Node.js, SQL). Build complex integrations with ERP/CRM systems and debug critical production issues.

  • Technical Architecture: Design reusable components and libraries that set the standard for the entire engineering team.

  • Mentorship: Lead junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews. You aren’t just a manager; you’re a coach.

  • Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers to translate their requirements into Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs) and actionable solutions.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all code meets rigorous security standards (ISO 27001, SOC2).

The Technical Stack: Requirements for Success

We are looking for a veteran developer with 5+ years of experience and a passion for clean, maintainable code.

Frontend & Backend Mastery:

  • React.js: Strong proficiency in building modern, responsive UIs.

  • Node.js: Expert level with Express.js and RESTful API design.

  • Modern Web: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.

Database & Cloud:

  • SQL Server: Advanced proficiency in queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.

  • MongoDB: Experience with NoSQL design and schema modeling.

  • AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda. (Azure is a plus).

Integrations & DevOps:

  • Deep experience in Enterprise Integrations (ERP/CRM) and webhook implementations.

  • Mastery of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
