As a Junior Consultant (IC1) in our Consulting stream, you will play an integral role in the technical development and implementation of Oracle’s world-class digital banking solutions.
This is an entry-to-early career role designed for developers with 1 to 4 years of experience who are eager to build expertise in the financial services domain. You will work in a fast-paced environment, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies while helping the world’s leading banks unlock the value of digital transformation.
About the Role: Engineering the Future of Finance
As a Junior Consultant, you will contribute to solution analysis, programming, and testing under the guidance of senior mentors. Your work will directly impact the migration, integration, and managed service projects for global banking clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development: Develop and modify programs using Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot to meet high-level specifications.

Full-Lifecycle Implementation: Participate in all project phases, from initial analysis and design to migration, integration, and testing.

Microservices Architecture: Build and maintain RESTful services and microservices-based solutions for digital banking.

Deployment & Support: Troubleshoot and deploy applications on Oracle WebLogic servers, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Documentation & Compliance: Follow rigorous change control and audit processes, documenting technical details according to global standards.

Client Interaction: Coordinate with stakeholders on issue resolution and support knowledge transfer activities.
Qualifications & Required Skills
We are looking for a proactive “team player” who is comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with rotational shifts.
Mandatory Technical Skills:

Languages: Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and JavaScript.

Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Core, and Microservices.

Database: Familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (12c/18c).

Web Tech: Knowledge of RESTful Services, XML, and HTML.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience Requirements:

1–4 years of experience, with at least 1 year specifically in software development or support (preferably in Core Banking or Fintech).

Willingness to travel to client locations and undertake technical certifications for Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE.
