Kids Planet — with over 250+ nursery settings — is searching for a talented Website Manager to take ownership of its digital presence, enhance user journeys, and drive online performance for families across the UK.
📍 Location: Kids Planet Head Office, Lymm, Cheshire
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours

We’re now looking for a skilled Website Manager to maintain, optimise, and elevate our website to deliver an exceptional parent experience.
🔧 Role Overview
As the Website Manager, you will oversee website operations, performance, UX, content updates, and SEO strategy. You will collaborate closely with digital, marketing, and tech teams to ensure the website remains fast, user-friendly, secure, and optimised for conversions.
You’ll also contribute directly to the development of an all-new Kids Planet website.
💼 Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Development

Oversee daily website functions, ensuring high performance, accessibility, and uptime.

Handle content updates, bug fixes, plugins, modules, and site security.

Coordinate larger integrations and technical resolutions with developers.

Manage WordPress & HubSpot CMS, build landing pages, optimise user flows.

Support the rollout of the new Kids Planet website.
CRO & Optimisation
-
Work with the Digital Optimisation Manager to boost conversions and enhance user journeys.

Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests.
-
Improve UX, UI, and content based on data insights.
SEO (On-page & Off-page)

Lead SEO strategy and drive organic visibility.

Conduct technical audits, keyword analysis, and competitor reviews.

Manage and optimise 250+ Google My Business listings.

Guide local SEO and support consistency across nursery pages.
Analytics & Reporting

Monitor performance via GA4, Search Console, HubSpot & SEO tools.

Track ranking, traffic, keyword trends, and produce actionable insights.

Present digital performance reports to cross-functional teams.
Reputation Management
-
Oversee Trustpilot and GMB reviews, managing sentiment and quality.

Support strategies to increase positive review rates.
Security & Compliance

Maintain backups, security standards, SSL, and compliance with GDPR & CCPA.
🎓 Requirements
Essential
-
Proven website management experience, ideally in B2C or multi-location businesses.

Strong WordPress & HubSpot CMS skills.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Strong understanding of SEO and CRO.

Proficiency in analytics tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush).
-
Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.

Familiarity with design tools (Photoshop, Figma) is advantageous.
Desirable
-
Experience with new website builds or migrations.

Knowledge of childcare/education sector.

Understanding of local SEO, Trustpilot, GMB.
