🧭 Position Overview: Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team in San Diego, California. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on translating operational requirements into practical solutions, loves working across teams, and enjoys building efficient systems that drive business results.

The Business Analyst will play a key role in process mapping, automation, and system design—ensuring that operational excellence and client success go hand in hand. You’ll act as a bridge between technology and business functions, using data insights and analytical thinking to streamline workflows and improve performance.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and document Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), capturing process needs and solution frameworks.

  • Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, conduct gap analyses, and propose automation opportunities.

  • Serve as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and leadership to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.

  • Design new programs and systems by constructing workflow charts, diagrams, and process models.

  • Translate data into actionable strategies using SQL and analytical reporting tools.

  • Support process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives for client onboarding and compliance.

  • Lead quality assurance (QA) reviews and monitor deliverables to ensure timely, accurate implementation.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, reports, and project milestones.

🧩 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or financial services.

  • Proven ability to conduct business analysis and document processes effectively.

  • Intermediate to advanced SQL proficiency for data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Experience in process automation, compliance audit, and reporting.
