 The Role: Designing Actionable Insights

As a Tableau Developer at Thoucentric, you will do more than just build charts; you will design user-centric experiences that help global organisations make better decisions. You will lead the visualisation lifecycle from wireframing to performance optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Tableau dashboards and reports.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective, actionable visualisations.

• Prototyping & UX: Create wireframes and beta dashboards with a sharp focus on user experience, data correctness, and high visibility.

• Performance Tuning: Optimise Tableau workbooks for maximum usability and speed.

• End-to-End Governance: Develop documentation related to Tableau solutions and maintain best practices for publishing and managing dashboards.

Your Technical Success Profile

We are looking for a professional who understands the “why” behind the data, not just the “how” of the tool.

• Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing, publishing, and managing Tableau dashboards.

• Core Technical Stack:

  • Visualisation: Expert knowledge of Tableau Desktop and familiarity with Tableau administration/architecture.

  • Data Engineering: Strong proficiency in SQL and Data Modelling for building end-to-end data pipelines.

  • Querying: Ability to write complex queries and a deep understanding of database concepts.

• Nice to Have:

  • Experience with clickstream data and web analytics tools (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics).

  • Programming skills in Python or Unix Shell for data pipeline automation.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence team.

• Location: Hybrid mode from our Bangalore North (Mahadevapura) office.
