The Role: Mining Insights across Digital Touchpoints

As a Data Analyst at Thoucentric, you will perform end-to-end analysis across the digital landscape. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into strategic recommendations that drive digital transformation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pattern Recognition: Mine and analyse large, complex datasets to identify correlations and patterns among various digital data points.

• Customer Journey Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of user behaviour and digital touchpoints to evaluate the effectiveness of digital initiatives.

• Data Pipeline Engineering: Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using advanced SQL techniques.

• Strategic Storytelling: Present analytical findings and research to business teams, providing actionable recommendations to improve ROI.

• Problem Solving: Use critical thinking to look beyond the obvious metrics and solve fundamental business challenges.

Your Technical Success Profile

We value professionals who combine technical “hard skills” with an entrepreneurial consulting mindset.

• Experience: 3–5 years in analytics, with a background in consulting or large corporate analytics teams.

• Core Technical Stack:

  • Advanced SQL Mastery: Expert proficiency in Window Functions, CTEs, Sub-queries, DML, and DDL.

  • Data Engineering: Ability to build end-to-end data pipelines and manage database concepts.

• Nice to Have (The “Consultant Edge”):

  • Web Analytics: Familiarity with Adobe Omniture or Google Analytics.

  • Programming: Python or Unix Shell scripting for pipeline automation.

  • ML Knowledge: Understanding of regression, clustering, and statistical concepts.

• Education: Bachelor’s with a Post-Graduation in Management Science or related fields.

• Location: Hybrid mode from our Bangalore North (Mahadevapura) office.
