We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our team in Mexico City. If you thrive in fast-growing environments and want to play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial records for a global public company, we want to hear from you.
About the Role: Financial Integrity & Operational Excellence
As a GL Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy of our financial records while driving operational efficiency. You will be a central part of our corporate accounting activities, collaborating across Sales, HR, and FP&A.
Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Close: Prepare critical journal entries, including accruals, cash activity, and payroll.

Compliance & Accuracy: Conduct account reconciliations and analysis to ensure adherence to US GAAP and corporate policies.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement changes to enhance the efficiency of corporate accounting workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global teams to support accurate financial reporting.

Special Projects: Contribute to system upgrades (NetSuite/Oracle), data validation, and reporting optimization.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience: 4+ years in a fast-paced accounting environment, preferably within a public company.

Technical Mastery: Proficiency in NetSuite/Oracle Cloud, BlackLine/ARCs, Alteryx, and advanced Excel.

Accounting Standards: Solid understanding of US GAAP; experience with cash, payroll, and accrual accounting.

Problem Solving: Strong ability to organise and complete complex projects independently.

Communication: Ability to articulate financial insights to both technical and non-technical teams.

Education: CPA/CA designation is highly preferred.
