Position Overview
As a Global People Analytics Analyst (Visualisation) at BCG, you will play a pivotal role in empowering data-driven decision-making across the firm’s global HR ecosystem. You will support the Global People Team by designing insightful dashboards, performing complex data analysis, and translating information into actionable insights that help BCG attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Your analytical mindset and technical expertise in Tableau, SQL, and data modeling will enable BCG to modernize HR operations, measure workforce performance, and drive strategic business impact.
Key Responsibilities
As part of this role, you will:

Develop, design, and manage advanced Tableau dashboards integrating data from diverse global sources.

Apply your expertise in data modeling and visualization to simplify complex HR data and enhance executive decision-making.

Use SQL to query and manipulate large datasets, ensuring high-quality and accurate information delivery.

Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations to create scalable and efficient data pipelines.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver analytical insights to solve people-related problems.

Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency through rigorous testing and validation.

Apply UX/UI best practices to create visually impactful dashboards that communicate insights intuitively.

Partner with global HR and analytics teams to automate key reporting processes, enhance visualization frameworks, and drive continuous improvement.

Contribute to strategic HR initiatives through predictive analytics and performance metrics that inform workforce planning, recruitment, and engagement.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, data-savvy professional with a passion for analytics and human capital management. The ideal candidate will possess:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Technology, or Data Analytics preferred); advanced degree (MBA, MTech, or Master’s in Analytics) is a plus.

Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience in Tableau dashboard development, SQL data modeling, and visualization design.

Technical Expertise:

Advanced Tableau experience (Tableau Server Management, Level of Detail Calculations, Hyper Data Source, Custom Charts, and JavaScript APIs).

Strong SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.

Solid understanding of UX/UI principles for intuitive and user-centric dashboard design.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, formula creation, and integration with visualization tools.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and presentation abilities to explain analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent collaboration skills to work across global, cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: Experience working with HR data, metrics, and analytics within global organizations is desirable but not mandatory.
