Precision AQ is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst with deep expertise in Oncology patient journey analytics, Line of Therapy (LoT) mapping, and structured claims data analysis. 🎯 Role Summary

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will lead end-to-end analytics projects focused on oncology treatment pathways, patient behavior patterns, therapy sequencing, and LoT frameworks. You will interpret large structured claims datasets such as IQVIA, DRG, McKesson, Symphony, and more, applying advanced analytical techniques to uncover insights that support HEOR (Health Economics & Outcomes Research), HCRU (Healthcare Resource Utilization), market access, and strategic decision-making.

This role requires strong analytical expertise, excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of patient-level data, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.


🧠 Key Responsibilities

πŸ” Analytics & Insights

  • Lead analytics projects centered around patient journey mapping, treatment patterns, persistence, switching, and LoT rules.

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large structured datasets to understand utilization, pathways, disease burden, and treatment sequencing.

  • Support HEOR/HCRU initiatives including cost of illness, prevalence studies, resource utilization trends, and epidemiological assessments.

  • Apply LoT frameworks and clinical guidelines to categorize patient progression and therapeutic decisions.

πŸ“Š Data Handling & Technical Execution

  • Work extensively with datasets such as DRG, IQVIA, McKesson, Symphony health claims, and other structured sources.

  • Build, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation.

  • Use Python for automation, data processing, modeling, and repeatable workflows.

  • Ensure high standards of data governance, quality control, documentation, and reproducibility.

  • Create dashboards, visual reports, and business presentations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Translate complex analytics into clear, compelling insights for clients across HEOR, market access, and commercial strategy teams.

  • Lead discussions with internal stakeholders, presenting methodologies, timelines, and insights with clarity and confidence.

🀝 Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with strategy, HEOR, engineering, and market access teams.

  • Gather business requirements, define project scopes, and communicate analytical approaches and deliverables.

  • Independently manage workload, prioritize deadlines, and ensure smooth project execution.


πŸ“Œ Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of analytics experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare, pharma, or RWD analytics.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Pharmacy, Statistics, Life Sciences, or related fields.

  • Strong experience working with large structured datasets (DRG, Symphony, IQVIA, McKesson, etc.).

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Hands-on experience with RWE sources: EHR/EMR, CMS datasets, claims data.

  • Strong understanding of Line of Therapy (LoT) frameworks, clinical treatment guidelines, and oncology patient flow.

  • Ability to turn analytical results into business recommendations for clients.

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.

  • Knowledge of data modeling and statistical techniques.

  • Client-facing experience with strong storytelling and presentation skills.

  • Familiarity with oncology, immunology, or rare disease therapeutic areas.

  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and multi-country datasets.

  • Ability to run stakeholder workshops, develop dashboards, and lead requirement sessions.
