⚙️ About the Role: Data Analyst (Fintech Ops)

As a Data Analyst at Peakflo, you will play a critical role in optimizing and scaling our Fintech SaaS operations. This includes improving workflows across payments, monthly billing, internal support systems, and overall data quality.

This position is perfect for someone who is eager to grow fast, take ownership, and collaborate directly with founders and senior leadership.

You will have the opportunity to design scalable solutions, enhance automation, and increase operational transparency across the business. Your work will directly impact how efficiently our customers experience and benefit from Peakflo’s automation tools.

💪 What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze business processes, data flow, and operational bottlenecks to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Develop scalable solutions to address recurring issues and enhance system reliability.

  • Automate workflows, reporting processes, and data transformations using Python and SQL.

  • Build and maintain dashboards for operational and product insights.

  • Create monitoring frameworks for data consistency, pipeline health, and workflow stability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — product, engineering, and operations — to define and deploy solutions.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable, data-backed recommendations.

  • Improve and optimize existing automation scripts, pipelines, and internal tooling.

  • Document workflow logic, scripts, and system designs for internal stakeholders.

This role offers excellent exposure to fintech systems, automation frameworks, and scalable SaaS operations.

👀 Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ~1 year of experience in analytics, data operations, or automation

  • Strong proficiency in Python (data processing, automation, API integration)

  • Solid SQL skills (joins, aggregations, indexing, performance tuning)

  • Experience building or using cursor agents, MCP servers, or similar AI/ops automation tools

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset

  • Ability to design scalable, repeatable workflows instead of one-off fixes

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management abilities

  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

  • A strong focus on accuracy, detail, and continuous improvement

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

😎 Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP)

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools (n8n, Airflow, dbt, or similar)

  • Exposure to finance operations or B2B SaaS environments
