🔍 Position: Data Analyst – Business Analytics

As a Data Analyst at Granicus, you will transform high-volume business data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, build intuitive dashboards, enhance data visibility, and contribute to meaningful operational improvements. 🎯 What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

1. Design & Develop Dashboards

  • Create, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that track business performance.

  • Ensure visualizations are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with business goals.

2. Collaborate with Stakeholders

  • Partner with internal teams to understand their data requirements.

  • Translate complex data needs into clear, actionable reporting solutions.

3. Maintain Data Accuracy

  • Validate datasets, monitor data pipelines, and ensure high-quality reporting.

  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and proactively resolve inconsistencies.

4. Conduct Training & Support

  • Train end-users to leverage dashboards effectively for decision-making.

  • Ensure teams understand how to interpret and use data insights.

5. Lead Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, analytics trends, and BI best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.


🧩 Who Thrives in This Role (Required Skills & Traits)

5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, information systems, or a related field
✔ Strong proficiency in Power BI (3+ years preferred)
✔ Experienced in SQL, DAX, and analytical data languages
✔ Solid understanding of data modeling and visualization principles
✔ Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
✔ Strong communication and collaboration skills
✔ Ability to excel in a remote-first environment
