The Role: Driving Infrastructure Excellence

As a Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in modernising our technology processes and architecting solutions for complex infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Apply problem-solving methodologies to drive workstreams consisting of multiple infrastructure engineering technologies.

• Architecture & Implementation: Work across platforms to architect changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organisation’s tech stack.

• Problem Solving: Execute creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting of moderate to high complexity.

• System Integration: Analyse upstream and downstream data implications and advise on mitigation actions for technical shifts.

• Modernisation: Drive the migration and operation across public and private cloud environments.

 Your Technical Success Profile

We are looking for a versatile engineer who continues to evolve their knowledge outside of their primary domain.

• Required Qualifications:

  • Networking: Formal training or certification with proficient advanced experience in networking concepts.

  • Infrastructure Depth: Deep knowledge in hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage, or performance assessments.

  • Automation & Scripting: Expert proficiency in Python or other major scripting languages.

  • Cloud Mastery: Deep knowledge of multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate across Public and Private Clouds.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Hardware: Experience with Arista, Cisco, F5, and Fortinet devices.

  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Ansible.

  • Diagnostics: Familiarity with Corvil and Wireshark for network performance monitoring.
