Job Overview

SRS Consulting Inc is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst for its Chennai office. This position is designed for professionals who have hands-on experience in NBFC systems, Loan Origination, Loan Management platforms, and HRIS solutions, and who can join the organisation immediately.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, end-to-end requirement management expertise, and the ability to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Candidates with exposure to financial services applications, enterprise systems, and .NET-based platforms will find this opportunity particularly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing existing business processes, systems, and user needs to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements across the loan lifecycle, including origination, servicing, collections, and account management.

  • Preparing clear and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and translating them into Functional Specification Documents (FSD)

  • Working closely with developers, architects, QA teams, and business users to ensure accurate implementation of requirements

  • Conducting requirement-gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and functional walkthroughs

  • Performing AS-IS and TO-BE GAP analysis to support digital transformation and automation initiatives

  • Reviewing manual operational workflows and converting them into automated system processes

  • Designing process flows, wireframes, dashboard layouts, and reporting views to enhance usability and decision-making

  • Supporting application architecture discussions and participating in solution design reviews

  • Preparing and maintaining documentation such as:

    • Functional specifications

    • User guides and manuals

    • UAT and SIT test cases

  • Coordinating functional testing, UAT execution, defect validation, and sign-off

  • Conducting impact analysis for system changes and enhancements

  • Facilitating validation sessions with stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of deliverables

  • Preparing weekly status reports, project updates, and stakeholder communication summaries


Required Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in NBFC or financial services environments

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Loan Origination Systems (LOS)

    • Loan Management Systems (LMS)

    • CRM platforms

    • HRMS / HRIS applications

  • Proven experience in managing requirements throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders


Technical Skills & Tools

The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of the following technologies and tools:

  • .NET Framework–based applications

  • AngularJS front-end frameworks

  • MS SQL Server with hands-on SQL querying experience

  • API integrations and validation using Postman

  • Familiarity with change management tools

  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills


Additional Mandatory Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with HRIS systems

  • 2+ years of experience in Loan Origination processes or platforms

  • 2+ years of experience with the .NET Framework
