About the Role: Junior Data Analyst (Remote)

This is a full-time remote opportunity, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to high-impact projects. As a Junior Data Analyst at Iskima, you will play an essential role in organizing data, extracting insights, and supporting data-backed decision-making across different departments.

You will be responsible for working with large datasets, building dashboards, preparing reports, validating data accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure we use data effectively. This role is ideal for someone starting their data analytics career and eager to learn, grow, and take on real-world analytical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection and Management

• Gather, clean, and structure large datasets from various internal and external sources.

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all platforms.

• Assist in managing datasets that support skill assessments and performance tracking.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct detailed data analysis to support business strategies and process improvements.

• Prepare regular reports summarizing findings, trends, and insights.

• Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

3. Data Visualization

• Build dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.

• Present data in a visually compelling manner to support faster decision-making.

• Translate raw data into meaningful stories and business insights.

4. Collaboration Across Teams

• Work closely with the assessment, technology, and operations teams to identify data requirements.

• Provide analytical support for ongoing projects and business initiatives.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose data-backed improvements in assessment processes.

5. Problem Solving & Insight Generation

• Use statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.

• Offer actionable recommendations to enhance workflows, product features, and decision-making.

• Continuously refine analytical skills to grow within the organization.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Foundation in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical methods.

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data.

• Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
