Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Investment Banking Associate Director to lead complex financial transactions, manage client relationships, and drive strategic growth initiatives. This senior leadership role involves managing deal execution, mentoring teams, and delivering high-impact investment banking solutions across mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A, fundraising, and advisory transactions.

• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted financial advisor.

• Oversee financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring.

• Guide and mentor analysts and associates on live transactions.

• Prepare and review pitch books, investment memorandums, and presentations.

• Coordinate with legal, tax, and regulatory teams for deal compliance.

• Support business development initiatives and originate new client opportunities.

• Conduct market analysis, industry research, and competitive benchmarking.

• Ensure adherence to Deloitte’s risk, compliance, and governance standards.

• Build strong relationships with investors, lenders, and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent professional qualification.

• 8–12+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Advisory.

• Strong expertise in M&A, valuation, financial modeling, and capital markets.

• Proven experience in leading transaction teams and managing senior clients.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

• Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk frameworks.

• High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.

Preferred Skills:

• Sector specialization (BFSI, Technology, Healthcare, Energy, etc.).

• International transaction exposure.

• Existing client relationships and strong networking ability.
