About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Marketing Data Analyst to help shape Appfire’s marketing strategy through data-driven insights. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner across Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to analyze marketing performance and translate data into actionable recommendations.
You will own the marketing measurement framework, ensuring that campaigns, channels, and programs are aligned with business goals and optimized for impact. Working closely with our Data Insights organization, you will help build executive-level dashboards that clearly communicate performance, trends, and opportunities. This role reports directly to the VP of Demand Generation and plays a critical part in guiding investment decisions and accelerating revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Analytics & Performance Measurement

Design, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports that track key marketing metrics across the full funnel, from awareness to revenue.

Analyze pipeline generation, lead quality, conversion rates, CAC, ROI, and attribution to inform strategic decisions.

Partner with Demand Generation teams to test, measure, and optimize digital, content, and lifecycle marketing campaigns.

Develop and refine a unified marketing measurement framework that connects top-of-funnel activity to revenue outcomes.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Insights

Work closely with the Customer Experience team to analyze and package NPS and CSAT insights.

Ensure data accuracy, consistent definitions, and alignment across marketing, sales, and analytics systems.

Collaborate with Product Marketing and Campaign Managers to evaluate campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies.

Present insights and recommendations to marketing leadership and executives in a clear, compelling, and actionable way.
Data Infrastructure & Optimization

Support data insights across marketing and sales platforms to ensure transparency and trust in reporting.

Help design and implement tracking methodologies including UTM structures, tagging strategies, events, and custom fields.

Identify data gaps and recommend improvements to marketing automation, CRM, and analytics systems.

Support forecasting and budgeting through trend analysis and performance modeling.
Testing & Experimentation

Provide analytical support for A/B and multivariate testing across email, paid media, and web experiences.

Analyze test results to quantify lift, validate hypotheses, and refine messaging or creative direction.

Partner with content, design, and marketing teams to translate insights into impactful creative strategies.
Skills & Experience

5–6 years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or growth analysis within a SaaS or B2B technology environment.

Proven experience building and interpreting multi-channel marketing performance dashboards.

Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, attribution models, and funnel analysis.

Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel or Google Sheets, and data visualization tools.

Familiarity with CRM systems, lead management, and campaign tracking structures.

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear business insights.
