About the Role

As a Junior Data Analyst at Hypersonix Inc., you will collaborate closely with our Implementation Team, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to bring customer requirements to life. Your role involves transforming business needs into dashboards, models, and actionable insights that support customers in making informed decisions.

You will be involved in data exploration, warehouse development, dashboard creation, as well as validation of ML outputs. This position provides a great opportunity to work on real-world data challenges while developing strong technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Insights & Dashboarding

  • Translate business requirements into analytical outputs such as dashboards and reports.

  • Summarize ML model outputs into actionable insights for customers.

  • Leverage your understanding of domain data to build meaningful and intelligent dashboards.

2. Data Exploration & Modeling

  • Support data profiling, exploration, and validation activities.

  • Work closely with the Data Engineering (DE) team to build efficient and scalable data models.

  • Compare and validate data output with client control totals to ensure accuracy and reliability.

3. Collaboration & Project Execution

  • Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Data Scientists (DS), and Software Engineers (SE) to deliver project outcomes.

  • Assist the DS team in analytical QA for data science model outputs.

  • Capture and interpret client requirements from BRDs and refine them with product managers.

  • Review analytical results and prepare insights to present to clients or internal stakeholders.

4. Mentoring & Growth

  • Provide guidance to junior team members to help them enhance their technical and analytical skills.

  • Act independently on assigned tasks and take ownership of project deliverables, timelines, and quality.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong SQL Skills to extract, analyze, and manipulate data from various sources.

  • Hands-on experience in Python, R, or any other analytical programming language.

  • Ability to work with large datasets and derive insights through data processing techniques.

  • Clear understanding of AI/ML concepts, statistical outputs, and data science workflows.

  • Expertise in creating dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.

  • Self-driven, motivated, and capable of managing work independently with minimal supervision.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of the E-commerce or Retail domain is a strong plus.

  • Prior experience in data validation, analytical QA, or working with cross-functional analytics teams.
