As a Freelance SEO Blog Writer, you’ll be responsible for creating high-quality, well-researched, and SEO-optimised blog content that aligns with Moris Media’s or its clients’ content strategy. The aim is to write blog posts that rank well, engage readers, and help generate organic traffic and brand authority.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

• Write detailed blog posts and articles based on assigned topics, following briefs.
• Incorporate keywords and keyword variations naturally as per SEO guidelines.
• Perform topic/keyword research to match user intent, including competitive research.
• Use internal linking guidelines: integrate mandatory internal links from briefs and identify opportunities for additional relevant internal links.
• Maintain high standards of grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone and style.
• Collaborate with editors, content strategists, possibly designers for multimedia or infographics. Implement feedback.
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice and messaging across tasks.
• Deliver content within deadlines, maintain quality even under multiple assignments.
• Optional: include multimedia elements (images, infographics) to enhance engagement.

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SEO content writing / blog writing.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices: on-page SEO, keyword research, internal linking.
• Excellent command over English grammar, style, and editorial skills.
• Ability to adapt writing style / voice depending on client / brand.
• Good research skills to write accurate, informative content across varied topics.
• Familiarity with content briefs and working with editorial guidelines.
• Discipline to meet deadlines, manage feedback.

👉 Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with multimedia integration (images, infographics).
• Basic knowledge of HTML or working in a CMS (content management system).
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Portfolio of published blog content that ranks or performs well in SEO.
