Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst who is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business, product, and engineering teams.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into accurate reports, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting trends, and communicating insights in a clear and impactful way.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Aedalsoft, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities

  • Creating clear, insightful dashboards and reports for business and technical stakeholders

  • Developing data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and KPIs

  • Translating business questions and requirements into structured data analysis and recommendations

  • Working with relational databases to extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL

  • Supporting product, business, and leadership teams with ad-hoc analysis and performance reporting

  • Ensuring data integrity and maintaining documentation for data processes and reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

  • Hands-on experience with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, reporting, and automation

  • Practical experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms

  • A solid understanding of core data analysis concepts, KPIs, and basic statistics

  • The ability to interpret data and present insights in a clear, business-friendly manner

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

While not mandatory, the following skills will be considered a strong plus:

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis

  • Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar data analysis tools

  • Exposure to data modeling, ETL processes, or data pipelines

  • Experience working with large or complex datasets

  • Basic understanding of business intelligence or analytics best practices
