This role sits at the intersection of data, automation, and operations. You will work closely with the founders and cross-functional teams to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our fintech operations.

💪 What You’ll Do

As a Data Analyst at Peakflo, your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze business processes, operational workflows, and data quality issues to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

• Perform deep dives into operational bottlenecks across payments, billing, and support workflows

• Design and develop scalable, long-term solutions for recurring operational challenges

• Automate workflows, data transformations, and reporting using Python and SQL

• Build and maintain dashboards, operational reports, and data monitoring frameworks

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define requirements and implement solutions

• Conduct root cause analysis for operational incidents and data discrepancies

• Present findings clearly with actionable recommendations for stakeholders

• Continuously improve existing scripts, automation workflows, and data pipelines for performance and scalability

• Document workflows, automation logic, and solution design for internal use and knowledge sharing

👀 Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for automation.

Minimum Requirements:

• ~1 year of experience in data analytics, automation, or data operations

• Strong proficiency in Python (data processing, automation scripts, API integrations)

• Solid experience with SQL (joins, aggregations, performance tuning)

• Experience building and using Cursor agents or similar tools, connecting via MCP servers, and developing Ops AI agents

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions

• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured workflows

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement

• Experience with cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP)

• Exposure to workflow automation tools like n8n, Airflow, dbt, or similar frameworks

• Prior experience in fintech, SaaS, or startup environments
