🔍 About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive API sales and manage high-level customer relationships across the US market. This strategic position requires cross-functional collaboration, strong commercial insight, and a technical understanding of API production and regulatory standards.


🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and build long-term relationships with major clients in the United States.

  • Lead all communication and weekly performance calls with US-based technical and commercial teams.

  • Collaborate with internal functions – PPIC, Licensing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.

  • Maintain updated forecasts, production plans, licenses, purchase orders, and dispatch schedules.

  • Drive yearly revenue growth by 25%, with current US market revenue at $7 million.

  • Monitor raw material procurement, inventory, and license compliance for seamless operations.

  • Prepare budgets, client forecasts (1+4 months), and 5-year growth projections.

  • Resolve escalations and bottlenecks proactively to avoid delays in dispatch or payments.

  • Create and maintain commercial MIS reports, dashboards, and daily meeting notes.

  • Lead internal meetings to close technical, regulatory, and commercial feedback loops.


🎓 Required Profile:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Master’s in Science or BE in Chemical Engineering

    • MBA from a reputed business school (mandatory)

  • Experience:

    • 5–10 years of handling commercial operations, sales, or business development for the API/Pharma industry in the US market

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • API production, regulatory requirements, international commercial transactions, and logistics.
