🌟 About the Role – Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst at Magma Consultancy, you will play a key role in identifying business challenges, analyzing data, and supporting strategic initiatives across teams. You’ll work closely with stakeholders from business, operations, product, finance, and leadership to define requirements and ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
This role requires a balance of analytical expertise, strong communication skills, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities – Business Analyst
✔️ Business & Requirements Analysis
You will work with stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and requirements. This includes gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements, as well as creating user stories. You’ll translate business needs into clear documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, and process flows, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
✔️ Data Analysis & Insights
The role involves analyzing business data to uncover trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities. You will build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics while supporting decision-making through data-driven insights. You’ll also perform ad-hoc analyses to answer strategic and operational questions.
✔️ Process Improvement & Optimization
You will map current-state and future-state business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall performance. Supporting implementation and change management initiatives will also be a key part of this role.
✔️ Stakeholder Collaboration
Acting as a bridge between business users, product teams, and technical teams, you will facilitate discussions, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions. You will ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.
✔️ Project & Delivery Support
You will assist in project planning, scope definition, and prioritization. Tracking progress against requirements and success metrics, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and participating in post-implementation reviews will help ensure solutions deliver expected business value.
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications – Business Analyst
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
✔️ 2–6 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or consulting role
✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✔️ Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and data analysis techniques
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
