We are expanding our engineering team to support a major banking transformation program and are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to work onsite/remote in Pune or Hyderabad on a hybrid engagement.

The Opportunity – Full Stack Engineer

This contract role is perfect for engineers with hands-on experience across the full stack — from backend microservices to front-end interfaces — seeking meaningful work in financial services.

What You’ll Do – Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Design & Build

  • Architect and develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

  • Build responsive user interfaces using ReactJS (Angular experience also considered).

• Cloud & Containerization

  • Develop and deploy cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). AWS experience is also acceptable.

  • Utilize Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration, packaging, and deployment.

• Database & Scripting

  • Work with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery.

  • Write effective data queries and optimize storage performance.

  • Build automation and integration scripts using Python and Unix Shell.

• DevOps & CI/CD

  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and Ansible.

  • Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and release management.

• Security & Risk Compliance

  • Apply secure coding practices.

  • Integrate IAM policies, container and code scanning solutions to ensure software integrity.

  • Participate in vulnerability analysis and risk mitigation.

• Agile Delivery & Collaboration

  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver iterative product increments.

  • Actively contribute to sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders.

Who You Are – Required Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you must bring:

• Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

  • Proven UI development experience with ReactJS (or Angular).

  • Solid understanding of cloud environments (GCP preferred; AWS is acceptable).

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container tooling.

  • Ability to work with relational and analytical databases (SQL/PLSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery).

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Unix Shell.

• DevOps & Automation Skills

  • Practical knowledge of DevOps toolchains: Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and Ansible.

  • Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.

  • Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated deployments.

• Security Savvy

  • Strong working knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks (IAM).

  • Familiarity with code quality, static security scanning, and container security tools.

• Domain & Team Orientation

  • Prior experience in banking, financial services, or risk applications is highly desirable.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments.

  • Capable of providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Work Model & Location

  • Hybrid work model — 2–3 days onsite per week in Pune or Hyderabad.

  • Candidates must be open to travel between office locations as needed.
