Role Overview: Lead the AI Revolution

We are looking for a visionary Manager – Data Scientist to join our Data and Analytics (D&A) practice. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring 8 to 11 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.

The ideal candidate is not just a coder but an AI Solution Architect capable of designing and implementing state-of-the-art systems using Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and MLOps. You will bridge the gap between complex business challenges and cutting-edge technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Impact

As a Data Science Manager at EY GDS, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade AI solutions:

• Generative AI & LLMs: Develop innovative solutions using Azure OpenAI GPT models, Hugging Face Transformers, and advanced NLP techniques.

• End-to-End AI Architecture: Build and optimise pipelines for generative AI, ensuring seamless data processing, model deployment, and scaling.

• Advanced Data Engineering: Utilise Vector Databases (Redis) and NoSQL systems to handle large-scale datasets and implement similarity search algorithms.

• Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with global stakeholders to identify business opportunities and translate project goals into technical roadmaps.

• Trusted AI & Ethics: Establish evaluation metrics to ensure the quality, coherence, and fairness of AI outputs, maintaining strict compliance with data privacy and security.

• Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research, exploring transfer learning, domain adaptation, and model compression to enhance performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (PhD is a plus).

• Core Experience: 8–11 years in Data Science and Machine Learning.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level Python/R skills and mastery of frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• NLP Mastery: Deep understanding of BERT, GPT, and Transformer architectures.

• Cloud Ecosystems: Proven experience deploying AI solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the communication skills required to interface with executive stakeholders.

Preferred “Good to Have” Skills

• MLOps Mastery: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for AI.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Optimisation: Knowledge of Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) and other optimization tools.

• Trusted AI: Practical experience in ensuring transparency and accountability in AI systems.
