Psychology meets Technology: DRDO-DIPR 6-Month Paid Internship 2026

The Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), a premier laboratory under DRDO, is inviting applications for its 2026 Paid Internship Program. Located in Timarpur, Delhi, DIPR is the backbone of psychological research for India’s Armed Forces, focusing on cognition, human performance, and military behaviour.

This 6-month immersive program is designed for final-year students who want to apply Psychology or Computer Science to national security challenges.

 Internship Snapshot

• Stipend: ₹5,000 per month (Total ₹30,000, paid in two instalments).

• Duration: 6 Months (February 1, 2026 – July 31, 2026).

• Location: DIPR, Timarpur, Delhi (Offline).

• Disciplines: Psychology (PG) and Computer Science & Engineering (B.Tech).

1. Psychology (PSY): 06 Vacancies (For Final-year Postgraduates).

2. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): 02 Vacancies (For Final-year B.Tech/BE).

Eligibility: Do You Qualify?

• Academic Record: Minimum 60% marks in your qualifying exams.

• Student Status: Must be a final-year student in a full-time course from a recognised Indian University.

• Institutional Support: A formal Request Letter from your Principal or Director is mandatory.

• Track Record: Candidates should have a strong academic background and a brief bio-data (under 300 words) ready.
