In this role, you won’t just move data; you will practice Engineering Craftsmanship. You will be a technical advocate, leveraging AI/ML and GenAI to solve complex business problems while ensuring code integrity and lean, scalable designs.

 The Role: Outcome-Driven Data Engineering

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you are responsible for the full lifecycle of product development—from rapid experimentation and prototyping to automated production deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Advocacy: Lead requirement analysis and component design, ensuring all solutions align with business goals and customer needs.

• Engineering Craftsmanship: Write high-quality, supportable code across multiple languages and frameworks. You are accountable for code integrity, quality KPIs, and tech debt payoff.

• Lean Experimentation: Develop engineering solutions through rapid, inexpensive experiments to solve customer needs effectively and at the right time.

• DevSecOps Mastery: Deliver daily product deployments using full automation (CI/CD) from code check-in to production, utilising tools like GitHub and SonarQube.

• Cross-Functional Co-Creation: Collaborate with product management and delivery teams to balance technical feasibility with user value.

• Domain Immersion: Quickly acquire specific business knowledge to translate architectures and data designs into technical specifications.

Your Technical Success Profile

We are looking for a dependable team player with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and cloud-native architecture.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (MS preferred).

• Core Technical Stack (Mandatory):

  • ETL/ELT: 3+ years of experience with tools like ADF (Azure Data Factory), AWS Glue, or SAP BODS.

  • Data Warehousing: Proficiency in SAP HANA or similar cloud-native warehouses.

  • Modern Tech: Hands-on experience with Databricks, Data Factory, and Python.

• Cloud & DevOps:

  • 3+ years in cloud-native engineering (FaaS/PaaS/Microservices) on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

  • Mastery of Agile (SAFe/Lean) and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Reporting & Visualisation: Experience with Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Preferred: Strong preference for candidates with practical experience in AI/ML and GenAI.
