Job Purpose
The purpose of the Dealership Account Manager is to focus on the onboarding, building and maintaining relationships with those dealerships. Promoting the benefits of working with us and helping to generate additional finance applications from their customer base, whilst also gaining market intelligence from customers to understand how we can improve our penetration and develop new products to take to market.
Main Duties
The main duties in the role of Dealership Account Manager include but are not limited to;
• Onboard new dealerships via outbound calls and emails and text/WhatsApp.
• Respond to all dealer related inquiries and source new opportunities to grow the brand within the dealer community.
• Be accountable for delivering new dealers and building the relationships of current dealers by way of finance applications delivered into the business.
• Create strong and lasting relationships with our dealer partners, being their ‘go to’ person in any situation.
• Be responsible for educating dealers on how to use our system as efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Ensuring that dealers can self-serve if required through our dealer portal once they have understood the processes and procedures.
• Act appropriately in supporting dealers to treat their customers fairly.
• Where required and agreed with a dealer, pro-actively assist dealers in their interaction with customers to get all the required details from the customer.
• Ensure all onboarded dealers, prospects and pipelines are documented correctly and accurately.
Day to Day:
• Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am – 6pm Friday (weekend shifts may be added in the future) – a flexible can-do attitude is essential;
• If you do work a weekend or Bank holiday a day off in the week will be given
• This is an office-based role in our head office in Cheadle
Person Specification
• Must have excellent organisation skills;
• Knowledge of the car buying industry especially the finance element;
• A passion for providing a great customer experience;
• Have excellent communication skills both written and verbally;
• Have the ability to take ownership of tasks in a timely manner;
• To be passionate and motivated for the business and yourself;
• To be able to deliver and exceed sales targets.
• Work as part of a team.
