Job Summary:
Accenture is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise databases. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, implement upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and support data-driven operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain SQL/NoSQL databases.

Monitor database performance and conduct regular optimization.

Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Troubleshoot database issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Manage user access, security, and data governance.
-
Support application teams with database queries, tuning, and integrations.

Perform regular updates, patches, and version upgrades.

Document database structures, processes, and maintenance tasks.

Ensure compliance with Accenture security and data management standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Strong skills in SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.

Knowledge of backup tools, replication, and high-availability systems.

Good understanding of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).

Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation (CI/CD, scripting).
